On Fragments

Some thoughts are not essays. They are fragments — pieces that haven't found their container yet.
This is a note. It has no thesis, no arc, no conclusion. It simply is what it is: a thought, captured before it escaped.
I've been thinking about the relationship between the fragment and the system. A system is a set of interconnected parts. A fragment is a part without a system. But fragments contain the seeds of systems — the connections are latent, waiting to be made.
The Tukei-verse started as fragments. The PAAS framework started as fragments. Most things that matter start as fragments.
The mistake is thinking a fragment is incomplete. A fragment is complete — it's just not yet connected.
